A close shave pairing up a fresh feather + New Improved. Some curative bloodletting was administered in the process, which the Thayers cleaned up nicely.

WFSR Shave 21:
An excellent (and different for me) shave.

Today's shave was an experiment (in reality, for me, I guess they all are). This was my first ever "cold water" shave! (Most of my shaves start out with hot water which ends up lukewarm.) It was definitely different, and not unpleasant. I intend to continue cold-water-shaving for the next few shaves at least, to see if I like them enough to change my years old habits.

After the cold water pre-shave splash, all the rest of the (ever changing [barring the razor]) team did a great job.

Nice lather from the soap especially the scent.
Shave with the razor this time paired with one of my favourite and safe blade provided a really smooth and comfortable 3 passes including smooth atg pass. Mostly BBS to some DFS. Excellent aftershaves. Rating 9.8/10
Outstanding shave with the razor fame truly realized! It is really important for a good blade pairing. Yesterday's blade pairing was not so good but today is super!!

Prep: Warm shower / Cussons Imperial Leather ~ Arctic Ocean & Icelandic Moss Shower Gel.

Pre:

Cold wet flannel to my face.

Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.

Brush : Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.

Face Lather.

Soap : Erasmic Shaving Soap Bowl.

Blade: Euromax Platinum half blade. (3)

Razor: Yaqi Katana.


Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint Lavender, +eucalyptus, Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./Giorgio Beverly Hills ~ Ocean Dream ASL./Creightons ~ Sensitive PSB.

The erasmic shaving soap bowl provided a cushioned protective slick lather leaving a superb post shave feel.

The Katana / Euromax platinum duo worked together wonderfully mowing down my stubble with effortless ease.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Creightons Sensitive PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
