Fantastic shave today, my first using the Wilkinson sword soap so the review is coming up shortly. I absolutely love the scent of the soap though, very strong for a soap.

The fatip piccolo performed perfectly, and so did the Wilkinson sword blade, but its definitely losing sharpness rapidly.

That Wilkinson sword brush just keeps getting better and better, its a super good brush for the price for sure!

Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud aftershave.

The juniper smell of the Fitjar, followed by the citrus/vanilla smell of the Satsuma is a great way to start off a day.

I read a lot of reviews about the baume soap, all of them are pretty true and on point. The soap is thirsty first and foremost, but it doesn’t create a thick foam. I mixed it up for about a good five or more minutes. Then I tried face lathering, didn’t really seem to help either.

Honestly this soap is a waste, it smells good but for $13.00 I’d save my money. Luckily I got the soap free from a co worker so I’m not out any money. I’m gonna try it a few more times, but I’d rank it up there with Williams as far as a soap that’s super hit or miss.
