Thursday, 4/2:

Razor - Razorock Game Changer 0.84-P
Blade - Personna Lab Blue
Brush - Colorado Razor Designs teakwood 26mm tuxedo
Cream - Proraso Green
A/S - Brickell unscented balm

Speed was the name of the game today, so out comes a synth and an easy cream. Proraso is one of my go-to's for this, and it did not disappoint. I got a fantastic lather from it, thick, slick, and protective. Proraso still doesn't fail to deliver. The new brush was awesome. Chunky handle that fit perfectly in my hand, water just beaded off the teak, and it has just the right amount of backbone to still splay easily but paints great too. Really lovely brush, I love it. The Lab Blue was terrific in the GC; really smooth, and gave a very close shave. Man, what more can I say about this razor? Shave was done in under 20 minutes, fantastic results, no muss no fuss. What more can you want?

SOTD, Thur April 2nd 2020

Razor :Gem Featherweight 1oz weight- MFG 1950-53 -Great razor for a daily driver or breaking in new Gem blades!
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (1)-one of the sharpest blades MFG in the world with longevity that no one beats IMO.
Soap : Proraso red sandal wood- it's OK!
Brush : Yaqi tuxedo knot 24mm (Sagarda Familia)
Pre Shave : Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep : cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave : Alum + cold water rinse after approx 40 seconds.
Post shave : Proraso Red Sandal wood aftershave with witch hazel + Nivea balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBs + Alum indicated some irritation + 1 blemish weeper = good shave this morning.

I would say comparatively speaking that the Fatip is less slanted (i.e. closer to 90° to the handle than most) but gives the blade more twist (making it more rigid [and more twisted]). Perhaps Richard, King Slant @efsk, would chip in on that thought — please?

Yes... The Barrister & Mann ~ Lime | Lavender | Cedarwood it’s only during the season limited edition which is available around spring... I think, because I’m not 100% sure.
