Ice Water + Special Thayers Mix
Hyaluronic Acid
Aqua Velva Ice Cool
Load from soap puck and face lather. Initially dry but add water slowly and work the brush on face. Good brush indeed with splay and backbone. Handle is very comfortable. Really nice lather result...thick, creamy and ok slickness.
Shave with razor and this famous blade felt comfortable, felt smooth but sharp. No harshness at all. Tatra & Tiger felt a tad smoother. Polsilver felt abit more efficient. 3+1 multiple passes with no weepers nor irritation. Near to BBS result. Icy water and Thayers leave a fresh tingly cool face and top-off by Hyaluronic with AV Ice Cool. 9.7/10!
Will try the blade with another tomorrow...

Thursday morning hot shower with Beardbrand Spiced Citrus beard softener, bloom water rinse (Col Conk Bay Rum), and a 3 pass shave with Edwin Jagger DE89 Gold, Yaqi Moka Express brush. Finished off with Pinaud Bay Rum and Nivea sensitive post shave balm.
This was the first use of the Yaqi Moka Express. Quite a bit shorter than my other brushes, feels amazing in the hand. 24mm synthetic. Ready for the day!

What a truly lovely combo of stuff, no surprise that I got a good shave. Great scent, a very pleasurable face lather, and smooth-smooth outcome.
