Just a regular shave

Preshave Preparation: Hot shower & face wash with Mitchell’s Wool Fat bar soap.
Preshave: Proraso White Preshave
Brush: EJ Super Badger
Bowl: Savanna Shave Scuttle
Soap: The Fat
Razor: Rockwell 6S plate 4
Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless shave 2
The Shave: Two pass shave with cleanup on the jaw line. Plate 4 was used throughout the shave. Warm water rinse between passes and cold water rinse after cleanup.
Aftershave Treatment: Bosomo Alum block applied and washed off a minute later with the remnants of The Fat from the brush. Then applied hyaluronic acid and CeraVe AM moisturizer.
EDT: Kouros
Results: Nice BBS shave that is just starting to reveal stubble after 8 hours. Very pleased with today’s shave.

Prep: Neutrogena Razor Defense face scrub
Soap: Valloloko Free Dive sample
Brush: Edwin Jagger Super Badger
Razor: Gem Micromatic Open Comb, shave #11
Blade: Gem Carbon, #2
Post: Alum -> hyaluronic acid-> Brut aftershave

Two-passes, mostly CCS, with definite feedback from the alum. The Gem Carbon was less usable tonight, but I got it done. I'll try again tomorrow, but I suspect I'll be pulling out the PTFE. The main feature of the shave tonight was blade-tugging, and lots of it. Not a comfortable shave.

GEM Carbon was the worst, for myself. I was surprised you felt it was better than Stainless. PTFE was the only one I could produce a good shave with.

Love the leathery scent from the soap. The lather quality was just ok.
Shave with razor paired with this famous blade was awesome!! Soooo crisply smooth and very comfortable for 3passes without any issues at all for a BBS result!! Excellent post & aftershaves. Rating today is a rare 10/10!!!

An excellent shave.

Back to the outstanding TFS Rasozero budget line today. I love the simple scent.
The extra menthol I added to the aftershave certainly finished off the session with a bang. :velva2:

Happy Shaves guys. :cornut:
