Prep - shower
Pre - Floid's pre-shave oil (4 drops on each cheek/side of neck)
Razor - Biali TTO
Blade - Baili Platinum+
Brush - Plissoft synthetic
Soap - Williams
Post - Thayer's then rinse, then small splash of Lucky Tiger tonic, then Fine American Blend AS

Great shave!! I've noticed that some aftershaves really leave my skin dry. It's very cold here today (and getting much colder this week) so I thought I'd try something I read on here about splashing with Lucky Tiger tonic after rinsing the Thayer's and before applying AS. I bought a sample of FAB, it came in a tiny bottle with a press-to-spray top. I spritzed into my hand 4 times, applied to my face and neck, then 1 more spritz for the chest. My wife said it was pretty strong. I like the scent. Hopefully it dissipates in the next hour a bit because we are going bowling lol.

I've mentioned this in a couple other threads...here is the mug I had made by uploading the Williams logo to the Walmart photo site, they printed it onto a standard coffee mug. Does the trick. Mug lid from FrugalShave is on order!

They are beauties, aren't they. My Type Fs are my all time favorite shavers, too. This is truly an outstanding pic!

I'm sorry to hear about your father. I've been there.

Thanks, Matt, for the kind words and thoughts.

Having had only one opportunity to shave with the Type F, thought I’d hold off a little while bragging about performance. I will say, however, that it is unbelievably light and nimble.

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Arko ~ Cool Cologne + Aftershave Balm .

Greetings,

A comfortable relaxing Sunday 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.

The williams mug shaving soap, once soaked in hot water for five minutes, then rubbing the puck directly in my stubble like a shave stick, then lathered up with my omega synthetic brush creates a wonderful lather, which leaves a absolutely superb post shave feeling to my face..The old 'tallow based' recipe must of been amazingly good.

I've mentioned before i totally understand why some people have love/hate opinions on williams it does take a while a little more effort and time to create a good lather, but once you get passed the airy/bubbly stage your rewarded with a wonderful slick protective lather...However, like most budget love/hate shaving soaps it doesn't get top marks for it's scent, which to my nose is a 'clean scent 'with no 'bells or whistles',but makes up multitude for it's slickness protection and post shave feeling which is the main issue in any soap or shaving cream.

The scent of a soap isn't a important issue for me slickness protection, and post shave feel is ok, you don't want it to smell like a 'warm horse' granted, i find once i've had a cold rinse the scent of a soap or cream is virtually gone,as always YMMV.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Arko ~ Cool Aftershave Balm.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.

Welcome back Patti!

Hope your dad is doing a lot better now and that Type F is a beauty. Excellent selection overall.

Thanks, Guy. Yep, it is a classy razor. Given its obvious appeal, really a wonder that no one has cloned the Type F.
