Razor: Gem Micromatic open comb- MFG 1930 -41, Excellent mid range, if you can not get a close shave technique needs improvement.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (10) Excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity and smooths out nicely & predictable.
Soap: Colonel Conk Bayrum, mild scent with excellent lather qualities. Great soap & a Bargain IMO.
Brush: Yaqi tuxedo knot 24 mm with black marble handle, excellent lather creator with cloud like soft tips with some backbone.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Witch hazel + Ogallala bayrum & Sandal wood + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BbS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my MMOC and coated Gem blade.

Shave 21 with a Feather

Preshave Preparation: Hot Shower
Preshave: Proraso White Preshave
Bowl/Scuttle: Savanah Shave Scuttle
Brush: RR 400
Soap: The Fat
Razor: Rockwell 6S plate 4
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless shave 21 thwo passes
Postshave Treatment: After rinsing with cold water, I applied Bosomo Alum Block and let it set for a minute. Then washed my face with The Fat left in my brush. Another cold water rinse and an application of hyaluronic acid. After cleaning my tools, I applied First Aid moisturizer.
Results: As I set here writing this several hours later, I ran my hand across my face and found only telltale stubble that is just now appearing. A nice fine shave out of a 21 use Feather. You may recall that yesterday was a bit of a struggle. I don’t know what caused yesterday’s issues, but they were gone today.
