Razor: Lupo 72
Blade: Nacet
Brush: Omega Boar 10098
Soap: Tabac
Splash: Tabac Splash

Decided to test out the Lupo 72 + Nacet combo on two days growth and three standard passes. Another smooth mild shave but still very efficient. No weepers, burn or anything to speak of.

I love this razor and for me will be the perfect ‘in between’ days shave where you want a close and mild irritation free shave.

Great start to the day with a shave using some summer favorite Ethos products. Think I finally managed to show the hints of gold you get from the Paladin Cleopatra Lapis Lazuli handle in today’s picture (if you zoom in and squint a little at the base of the handle), but I still struggle to have it shine forth in its true glory on a photograph.

Brush: Paladin Cleopatra
Soap: Ethos Greenfresh
Lather: Bowl lather with Captain’s Choice Ceramic
Razor: Seygus Zeppelin V. 2
Blade: Wilkinson Sword

Switching to the Wolfman today. For a change, loaded with a Wizamet blade. The 2011 LE brush does a wonderful job of making lather. A very nice shave on a rainy day. Have a good one.

Razor: Razorock 2nd Generation SS Lupo.72- Mfg 2021, excellent mid range, I just consistently knock off excellent shaves, easy to maneuver the face areas and under the nose. Worth every penny spent IMO. Might not be a daily driver for some folks?
Blade: Gillette Astra Superior stainless(4), excellent blade, Sharp & smooth with good longevity.
Soap: Ach Brito Lavada cream, mild lavender scented with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm 2band badger(Finest), excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, great scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. My skin enjoys cold water rinses.
Post shave: Ach Brito aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm with HA.
Results: CCS, DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= :a17: excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Astra SS blade. (It does not get any better for this shave!).

______

Pre: Elegance Plus "Earth" gel
Brush: Haircut & Shave 24mm Synth
Bowl: Captain's Choice Heavy Copper
Lather: Stirling "Iced Pineapple"*
Razor: RR "Lupo 72"
Blade: Dorco "Prime"
Post: GBS alum block
Balm: CeraVe Moisturizer
Frag: Armaf "Club de Nuit"

A bit hot and sticky today, so I opted to lather
with "Iced Pineapple." Interesting how that scent
amplified the opening pineapple notes of Club de Nuit.

Did have a nasty weeper, though--one that
challenged my alum block. On my upper lip,
just beneath my nose, WTG, no less. Gnrrrr.

(Not quit a nick, but the damn thing is still
bleeding. Time for the styptic pencil, which
I've not used since my R41 days.)

*With a dollop of added Pantene
Hair Conditioner in the bowl.

Stay healthy,

Bill

Preshave: shower, frigid tap water
Brush: Yaqi Butterscotch 26mm
Soap: Stirling Soap ~ Executive Man
Razor: Blackland Blackbird Stainless Steel
Blade: vintage Polsilver Stainless (20)
Post shave: frigid tap water,
Fragrance: Montblanc Explorer EdP

AAA - day 11

The 20th shave with the vintage Polsilver is in the books. 20 shaves with one blade, this doesn't happen often here.
Again, I didn’t notice any further decline of the blade's performance. 2 passes and some touchups with the highly efficient Blackbird were enough. Almost BBS. No skin irritation. Smooth strokes.

Today's shave marks the 11th spin in AAA. Totally enjoying the Aventus DNA in the different soaps I'm currently rotating. It just doesn't get boring.

Happy shaves, y'all!

First shave with this brush. Performance was amazing. Easily generated enough lather for three passes. Great flow-through and super soft face feel. Definitely a keeper!
