BBS! What a great shave today! One of the best yet. It makes me wonder why I bother trying other razors. I did not shave yesterday, perhaps the extra length was just right for the Merkur. I noticed that this razor "sings" a different note than the Maggard... Not as loud, lower pitch, too, but every bit as effective for me. Actually, more effective, but I have only tried one blade in the Maggard so far.

Blade: Polsilver SI (4)
Brush: Omega 6192 Badger
Aftershave: Barbon
WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)
4[SUP]th[/SUP] shave with the Polsilver SI blade in the Slim. The Polsilver and Slim both did a great job: smooth, close, & nick free shave. Slim on “6” today. I used the last of my Coate’s Rose Cream today. Good easy, slick lather. I finished with a blast of Barbon AS to kick start the work week.

Razor/Blade: Parker 71R/Wilkinson Sword (Turkish?) shave #1
ASB: Malaspina Tweedish Gent
Nice thing about that Parker, it has such a massive blade gap that it mows through a weekends worth of growth like a straight. The quality of the Speick stick will never cease to amaze me, I am going to have to stock up on these. The scent goes very nicely with the Tweedish Gent, although the Speick starts to come through when the ASB scent fades.
