BAM - quick two pass with some Proraso cream right to the Brush. I think this is a Surrey Brush based on how the handle resembles a few gazillion I saw on EBay. It performed magnificently.

This time I used the non-foaming shaving gel I bought sometime ago. I was in a hurry and hence decided to skin shaving cream. What I got:

• Much less irritation
• 2 nicks/weepers instead of usual 4

This gel is very slick. Only VICCO Sandalwood and Sunny Herbals shaving creams can surpass it in slickness. I bought it from Flipkart and it is worth the price in my opinion. It has a kind of synthetic smell to it and I don't think it will be anyone's liking. Definitely not for the people who want a good fragrance shaving soap.

SE Sunday- February 4th 2024

Razor : Yaqi SE Excalibur with a Yaqi Milano 316 SSP- Mfg 2021>, mild to tame mid range. Small head parts make it interesting to assemble, I assemble on a wash seems to be safest method. Simple clamping system makes for a great secure blade. One of my favorite SE razors. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Schick Proline (3) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Tabac puck, nice flowery scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm brown whiskers fan knot. Excellent lather generator, heavenly, luxury, cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Aqua with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Excalibur with a Schick proline blade.

The V1 is an impressive shaver. I enjoyed the smooth and efficient shave with zero irritation. The Personna Lab Blue blade pairs well with it for easy BBS. The audio feedback from this razor and moderate blade feel constantly lets me know what it is doing. The knot in this brush is from Strike Gold - Frank did a great job. Krokos smells like fresh saffron flowers from the garden and left my skin feeling refreshed.
