Could someone shed some light on this razor for me please, i picked it up in this condition which looks as though its down to the brass, gillette is stamped on the base plate along with made in england, do you know what version this is and what age as there is no age code any where on the razor, i have not used it yet as i need to sterilise and clean it, any help would be appriiated.

The case appears to be a 1948-52 British Aristocrat case.

Yep, thats the case alright
The head is clearly a Tech, but the handle....? A mismatch, perhaps?
interesting! I´ve never seen this handle before. It looks like a mix of this two french NEW Made in England:

I now think its a miss match as the box is as mentioned above and after looking at the excellent mr razors site i looked at handles and it looks exactly like the new miladys 1927-1937 but a different head, it cost me all of £1.99 and the info info i had was possibly made arouind 1940, thanks for all your help i now have a odd razor to use
