Today I went for a quick cleanup with the Schick type D. Lather via vintage Williams whipped up with a Rubberset 400 with a Zenith Boar knot. Not pictured is the Aqua Velva 5 in 1 balm and Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue.

Yeah, back to vintage stuff tomorrow. I'll put the Asylum in some sort of rotation with the Supply razors most likely.
Speaking of vintage, I now have exactly two Personna 74 tungsten steel injector blades. I'm going to wait for a long open slot on my shave calendar so I can really experience them fully.

Razor: Supply 2.0 matte black with SE comb plate / Supply Black Label (14) -- American razor / Japanese blade
Brush: Semogue SOC cherrywood badger refitted with APShaveCo Tuxedo synthetic knot -- Portuguese/Canadian
Soap: MWF -- English and I believe northern English at that (my mother's family came from both sides of the Scottish Border)
Post: Osma alum block (French); Polar Ice Booster -- uhmmm... generic multi-national commercial conglomerate??
All the usual suspects from my recent shaves returned.
My last shave was on Tuesday morning (with the same setup), so I had five-day stubble. One quick pass resulted in a Socially Acceptable Shave -- cleanshaven with no visible shadow. Alum was silent.
The blade is still fine, so I may get more than 15 shaves out of it after all. Injector blades are thicker and longer-lasting than DE blades of course, but that is still pretty good. So no complaints from me about this particular Supply Black Label blade.

Yes, I did that for Shark Week. Since the blade is fully supported, I think this is much less risky than my Gem Junior shave earlier this week.
