Soap with best glide/slip?

I just had a thought: I wonder if water hardness plays a part in slickness? ).

No doubt. You have a lot of variables. As you can see from the range of replies, you're just going to have to try all of them for yourself!

Actually...like lots of other stuff around here, there is a lot of trial and error...

I much prefer slickness over cushion. For me and my water, the absolute slickest soaps are: Arko, Cella and Mama Bears. Then, a notch or two below: Valobra/Tabac/Moos. I don't find the triple-milled English soaps very slick.

Of course, this is all YMMV and I've a feeling water in your area will affects soaps differently.

My vote goes to Ralph Lauren Safari and C&S soaps.

For myself, HoneyBee Spa soaps are the slickest. Cella and RazoRock are also excellent for slickness (and cushion).
