I have the Duke 3 Platinum Synthetic (blue sapphire base) and really like it. It is my goto bowl lathering brush and has replaced my Chubby 2 Synthetic for that job.

Used my Duke 3 synth this morning. Face lathered a LaToja soap stick. Always a terrific shave. Mine's a first run Simpson synth from 2016. Looks as good as new after hundreds of uses.
