I don't suppose the Case was ever made like that, was it? The little 2-band seems like it'd look really nice to me, especially when complete with the travel case.

I just picked one up but haven't used it yet. It's a 3-Band Case and I was thinking of selling it instead of using it. I wanted it for my travel brush but now i am thinking I will get myself an inexpensive Boar for that job, especially since I'm leaning more and more towards boar.
I can't recall who exactly but enquiries were made to Simpson about a small two band brush (possibly a case) group buy. Simpson said they had difficulty forming small knots with 2 band hair because of its relative stiffness.

Now that is a crying shame. That "relative stiffness" could have been exactly what I've been looking for all this time.
The Wee Scot was the brush in question for a group buy in 2-band. I think the Case is much more feasible as long as they can get the hair.
They have the Emperor 1 that is supposed to be an 18mm knot, and the Case is 18-19mm from what I've seen specs of, so really would it be that much harder to put 2-band in the Case when you have a similar brush they already do it to? Just been getting hard to find that 2-band hair though again.
