Shower Shaving Luxury

When I was younger I bought a special shower filter to help remove chlorine and other toxins from the water. I bought a good filter, and some of the side benefits was that it made the water better to bathe with. Soap lathered better, and my skin did not dry out. Unfortunately, I was still living at home, and my dad disliked it and tinkered with it until it broke (luckily I was able to get a refund from the site).

Anyways, now that I have started wet shaving, and joined B&B, I thought I would share this link.

While it's not cheap, I think the effects it will have on the wet shaving experience would be well worth it. I think it would greatly improve the lather of soap, and also eliminate hard water build up that affects razors, in addition to alleviating the aforementioned dry skin problem if you have it. And I only thought it was for having a more healthy shower!

When I save up enough money to buy one again, I will. Until then, maybe I can live vicariously through someone who sees this and ponies up the cash to buy a filter :001_tt2:

Seems a little excessive just for shower water. Of course I don't shower shave so maybe I just can't justify it. What about the rest of the water in the house?!?? I think I'll need a whole water softening system! those couldn't be that expensive right?

Hell for a little bit more you can get a Whirlpool central filtration system that filters all indoor water. Or a water softener if that's the problem.

It looks like a plastic ugly mess and I just can't see many wanting to remove their nice shower fixtures to replace it with this. A central filter would be out of sight. Go for that.

Defo seems like snake oil to me, the guy who presented the video looks like the type who also does a side line in healing the sick, talking to dead relatives and inserting himself into the last will and testament of little old ladies foolish enough to fall for his haircut.
Speaking of which, when I looked at the video, I got this irresistable urge to make sure my silver-tip badger brush had not been stolen from the bathroom and used for a tupee ;)

Get a household water system if your having water issues. In the long run you would be better off to buy gallons of distilled water at your grocery store and just use it to shave with.
