Shaving while sick

I've been in absentia again, folks. This time, one of the munchkins has afflicted me with some sort of alien death fungus that I'm currently hurling antibiotics and chicken soup at. And yet...I still go to work.

At any rate, I am just now, after three days, feeling like I could shave in the morning. Should I use mentholated products, or will they make me feel worse because of the sudden temperature drop on my face? Should I do anything different from my normal routine? I need help, I'm all stubbly and I need to shave!

I've been sick too. I wouldn't use mentholated gear, although i'm not a big menthol man anyway. I've just been sticking to the mild tried and true stuff, trying not to rock the boat much. DR Harris Arlington soap, Munchkin repellent aftershave balm...

I have been bloody ill the last three days myself. I to the best of my ability shave as per usual. The feeling of being well groomed and the ritual cheer me up, lift my spirits and I believe will bring me back to health sooner.

You should shave with chicken soup. After all, if it is good for you, it has to be good to shave with!

I'd personally shave with something with little fragrance as possible.

Hope you feel better soon. I would say wait until you feel like shaving and then follow your usual routine. I am sure some hot towels, a good shave, and good hot shower will make you feel more human. I just kicked some bug myself and the shave after 3 days made me feel whole again.

I would go with my most mild, least aggressive razor. and no fragrance if you have any upper resp. problems.

Good luck. My daughter is in 1st grade and apparently so is my wife and I. All getting over something.

:tongue_sm
