Shaving Satori

I was cleaning out a drawer a week or so ago and I came across my long unused Fusion. I was getting ready to toss it when I noticed I had a cartridge left too. I thought what the heck--use it up rather than throw it away. So, keeping everything else in my routine unchanged, I switched to the Fusion for a few days--five to be exact. I have to say that I got an excellent shave every time. Quick, painless and a true BBS. The bigest downside was return growth--I got stubbly much faster than with my DEs.

When I noticed that the blade had gotten dull, I tossed it and the Fusion handle and went back to my regular rotation of DEs.

Here's the cool part. For whatever reason, I feel like my touch with the razor has gotten even lighter and surer after Fusion week. I've been getting great shaves with my DEs for some time now, but it feels a little bit different now. More effortless? Maybe it's just my imagination, but I feel like the razor just skims along now. All in all, I'm very happy with things.

Neat story. I keep a Trac II in my rotation primarily because I like to shave with it, but also because the change of pace always gives me better feel.

Very interesting.

I was cleaning out under the sink and found in one of my travel kits a Fusion and 4 cartridges. I gave them to the wife, she likes them. I thought about trying them for a while but decided against it.

For less then the price of 4 Fusion cartridges I can shave for a year with Red IP's.
