Big fan of the Captain's copper bowl here. As I cannot seem to find my scuttle anywhere, I do the next best thing on cold winter mornings: before making lather, I hold the bowl under hot water. Warms things up nicely.

I stumbled upon a plastic microwaveable bowl in the garage and tried it out - comfortable fit in the hand and works just fine !!!

Not sure what brand though, nothing to decipher on the base.

25 years ago i found out the metal cream caramel bowl to be just as good as I needed to be
My wife tinks I'm a nut
But I can live with that
