i just use any big heavy solid soup mug(they stay still better on the sink counter while i use my good hand to lather) that i can find at any marshalls or ross while gf takes care of her itch to shop/browse dig around racks of clothes before actually going to a macys to buy stuff

I also like this Marvy. It's a little too deep so the brush handle bangs around some, but the mug is rubber which shouldn't hurt the brush handle and I like the "old fashioned" look and feel of it.

I love looking at everyone’s beautiful, ceramic bowls here. But I know I’d drop mine and break it. My Timeless bowl has slipped out of my hands three times, once onto the counter and twice into a sink full of hot water, ruining the lather I built. It’s got no style. But it’s indestructible, inexpensive, and makes lather like a champ.

I use a ceramic soup cup from the dollar store. Works great. But I really want a scuttle. Been looking at the Phoenix Travel Scuttle.

The Phoenix Dreamscape Scuttle has been working perfectly for me.

I'm late to the party here, but I'll post up anyway. I've had this bowl for a while. I've looked a little to learn about it, but so far, nothing. The wooden bowl has the letters etched or burned into the lid & the Williams logo in the center is a decal of some type. I've used it for decor, not for lathering.
