Shampoo Bars

Since I started using Leggett's a few weeks ago I no longer need Head and Shoulders or conditioner. Great stuff!

Are there cons to this stuff? All bars the same? Recs for others?

My specific need is to avoid dandruff and Leggett does this... I'm thinking I was getting dry scalp from the chemicals in my liquid shampoos.

Thanks.

I've been using shampoo bars for about a year now. Some made my hair feel nasty unless I used a vinegar rinse, and I just don't like using a vinegar rinse. I really like Bobeam, she is on Etsy. I let my shampoo bars lapse before reordering and had to use some baby shampoo from a bottle. I got almost no lather, and the chemically infused scent was just completely nasty after using Bobeam stuff. I usually give the bar about three rubs across my head and have crazy lather, could prolly shave with the leftovers...

Which Liggett's do you use? The coconut and argan will be my next shampoo bar. Right now I'm using Chagrin Valley's herb garden bar. I like it, but I want to try others.

Tea Tree and Hemp

Tea Tree Oil has powerful antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties that help enhance our shampoo's abilities to effectively tame dermatitis, itchy-flaky scalp conditions and may also stimulate hair growth!"

I've been using Ogallala Bay Rum bar, no dandruff, great lather, excellent cleaning
Me too, but it does dry my scalp in the winter. Great for summer, or if you have oily skin. Smells nice, after the initial overpowering scent calms down with a few days of use. Really great lather.

The whole family uses Mike's Natural and QCS shampoo bars. I would give the edge to Mike's. QCS shampoo bars are just slightly harsh compared to Mikes. But both are great even after the swimming pool and all of the suntan oil and chlorine.

I condition my leather goods by rubbing them on my face and hair when I get up in the AM
