What's new

Samsung Galaxy S 4.

You can pre-order them now....

Anyone interested in them? If you are a Android fan, what do you think about them so far?

I ordered two. I am looking forward to using the camera and video for my job. It is suppose to be a lot better than my old one. If you are going to use it for business, (other than talking on it) what features do you like and how are you going to use them?

Now I have to shop for a case...the S View case appears to be nice....$59 bucks though....

Hey Mark, is this what you ordered?

I have been looking at it, but decided that since it basically has the same specs and hardware as my S3, I don't want to spend all the money to get another when I will face the same problems. I do envy the camera, though, and if I COULD get a really good deal on the Korean octa core, I would probably take the opportunity. Granted, I could probably upgrade now... and just pay my way out of the contract in one year. Hrm. $250 for an LTE version of my phone...

I'm getting ready to jump from the iPhone 4 to an Android phone. I plan on waiting for the Dad's and Grad's sales to see if I can get a good deal. The SG S4 interests me, but I'd be happy getting a NOS S3 if the price is right.

After getting on the Nexus bandwagon, I can't imagine either paying full retail for that phone or locking myself into a 2-year contract just to get it.

I'm feeling the same way. I'm three weeks into owning a Nexus 4 after several years of Samsung, I can't see myself ever going back.

I'm really tempted to get this as I will be up for renewal soon.

However, I currently have a Samsung Infuse 4g, and while it was great at first, it just has all sorts of problems now. It seems the more "newer" apps and updates I put on it the worse it gets. I guess the hardware just can't keep up anymore. I will experience phone freezes, app crashes, etc. on a daily basis now that require a hard reset by pulling out the battery.

My wife's iPad, which is about the same age, has no such problems. Everything still works great without any issue. Kind of makes me want to switch to an iPhone and feel all warm and comfy in a contained system.

I am due for an upgrade in June and have all but decided that the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the way to go. I have an iPhone 4s right now. The camera on the Galaxy is twice as good, the hardware is twice as fast, the phone is thinner, the screen is bigger, the resolution is better, the features are cooler, and it is 4G!

I think that going from the iPhone 4s to the Galaxy S4 will be about as big of a jump for me as when I switched from a Blackberry Tour to the iphone. The change was day and night, and the iPhone was leaps and bounds better than the Blackberry. The problem with iPhone however is that Apple seems to have stopped much of the innovation that made them famous. I see them more following the industry and catching up to phones like the Galaxy as opposed to setting the bar for others to follow. I want to give my business to the company that offers the best product and is doing the most to win over customers. At the present time, that company in my opinion is Samsung. My friend at work as a Galaxy S3 and loves it. I think that from what I have read, the S4 will make a great phone. June can't come soon enough!

Otterbox is supposed to have cases available by / around launch time. They definitely cost more but are uber protection!

I'm on contract until June 2014 (early upgrade in February) so I don't have a horse in this race. But the S4 looks like a pretty solid device. Also the HTC One is suppose to be availble within the next week or two and that's also a pretty nice device as well.

As an SIII user I'm pretty content to sit this round out because supposedly some of the features on the S4 will eventually be coming to the S3. Also rumor has it Google may be unveiling an updated Nexus 4 with 32gb of memory and LTE during Google I/O. But again it's just a rumor.

I bought an S2 about a year ago, and love it--it's the first phone big enough that I use it on the web and read on it. . . especially the reading part. However, riding in a taxi a couple of months ago the driver let me use the GPS maps on his Galaxy Note, and that's going to be my next phone. I'm hoping that by the time I'm up for a new phone, in about a year, they'll have a fancy new Note. Since I commute on a bus every day, the reader experience is more important to me than the size boost will be an irritation.

But for the Note experience, I'd definitely be locked into the Galaxy Sx series--they're the best phones I've had yet, and the camera, which I use quite a bit, i

For the Nexus users, are you worried about space issues a few years down the road? I have a 3+ year old 16GB iPhone 4 and for the past year or so I'v been struggling with storage issues. I keep about 200 songs on it, lots of pictures and videos of my 3 year old, about 20 books, and some apps. So, any new phone I get will quickly get close to 10 GB of data added to it as I transfer as much as possible.
