Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch

This week at IFA in Berlin, Samsung finally took the wraps off the long rumored Galaxy Gear Smartwatch. Must say I don't wear watches all that much anymore but this really brings the geek out in me.

Below is a early hands-on video by the Verge.com. So what do you think? Would some of you watch aficionados or style conscious guys drop $300 on this?

Depends. What does it do? I can't watch video due to bandwidth limitations. My internet connection is via INMARSAT.

I'm still on the fence about the Pebble and that's only $150. Double the price point and no assurances that the app store will grow leaves me wary.
