Sample PIF - UK members

Hi Folks,
Had an idea for a Pass around of shaving Cream samples (enough for a couple of shaves or so).
I've accumulated a few creams now and thought it would be nice to give some fellow UK B&B'ers a chance to try some they don't know.
I'm proposing a pass around using the following format.
- You choose 3 samples from the list below.
- I'll post them (and add a couple of surprise samples)
- When you receive the package, take what you want.
- Replace with some different samples using the spare zip lock bags enclosed.
- Post on this thread which samples are now in the package
- Send to the 1st to respond

So there you go. The only restriction is that you are based in the UK, that way postage can be kept nice and low (<£1) as the package will be classed as a large letter.

The first person to respond will get the package.

If there is enough interest, we could start a list of people on this thread to receive it next. If it proves popular, I will send out a 2nd package to do the rounds.

Well first reviews of the products i've used before, I will be using proraso as my benchmark as this is my goto cream. I will also be keeping all other variables constant;

1964 Black handle SS, Edwin Jagger best badger brush

The first one i tried was T&H 1805. I found it to be quite a plain scent, nothing overpowering. It lathered up very easily, getting nice big dunes in my lather, It gave a nice shave, my skin felt nice and protected. Although it was good and did a perfectly acceptable job, I dont think it was particuarly memorable! No bad points, just no stand out points either,

The next i tried was Nancy boy replenishing cream;

As for this i felt it had quite a nice fruity scent, a pleasent surprise, It again lathered up very easliy. I did achieve my first ever BBS with this shave, usually dont go for it and it just sort of happened, I am definatley going to buy some of this cream!

Roll on tomorrow morn when i try the GFT coconut

Glad you enjoyed the Nancy Boy and super pleased for your first BBS!
It's been a good couple of months since I last used NB Replenishing. I am going to have to get it open again very soon after reading of your success with it.

It is lovely stuff! Need to get some ordered, which site did you order it from? Ive only used ebay and executive shaving

Sadly it is unavailable from any UK outlets as far as I have found. I picked it up from the store in San Francisco when I was out there in May.
You can order direct from their site but will have to add $10 shipping to the $18 price for the cream.
