Rotations: Looking for some logistical advice.

I'm still quite new to the whole addiction thing and am trying to figure out how everyone else here rotates through their various soaps. I've got four or five right now and I treat them as seasonal soaps. I'm from Canada, and conditions vary wildly throughout the year. It's cold and dry in the winter, and hot and humid in the summer. All bets are off in the shoulder seasons. Anyways, I use Cade in the winter for the moisturizing, and usually Proraso in the summer for the menthol, Trumper's Limes in the spring, and their Sandalwood in the fall. I sprinkle a little Wool Fat in there, usually on weekends. I'd be interested to know how everyone else rotates through their substantially-bigger-than-mine collections. Should I worry about my soaps drying up/going bad if I don't use them in a reasonable time frame, or can I add some more variety without wasting what I've already got? I'm also happy to hear any other recommendations for soaps, except Tabac, I read somewhere that it's bad for you or something ;-).

I usually use one Main soap or cream and try other on 2-3 times a week. I always use the Main one at least once, next is something I try. Then I go back to the Main, then something else, etc.

If I try a new razor, AS, prep, blade, etc, I will stick to the Main as I know how that one works (limiting a bad experience, maybe).

I use 'em as the whim strikes me, and don't worry about the long term storage too much...

+1

Some days i'll wake up and feel like some proraso indulgence and other days a TOBS shave... etc....

Have all your soaps out; close your eyes and grab one!
