Roller Razor

Here is an Interesting Piece, This one is called the Roller Razor. Its kinda like the Stahly But it doesn't have a Spring action Feel to it, just Rollers and Man those Rollers feel good on the Face :biggrin1:

Seems it is missing a blade case of some kind because the Case has an Empty spot to the left of it. Does Anyone know what goes there?

The Case- Case is Solid and made of a nice Metal. Top of Case has the Word Roller on it Written on a Metal place and that Plate Sits on what seems like a Piece of nice Chocolate Color Leather. Inside of case is nice and Shiny :biggrin1: I like Shiny Things, Don't we all ?

Razor Head seems a bit on the long side so covering the Full blade should be a problem for this Razor head, Also Rollers a Solid and not hollow with space in between the rollers. Looks like a Brass Head not Pot metal.

Can Anyone tell me more about this Roller Razor ? Thanks.

That's an amazing looking razor! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I will continue to follow this thread to learn more about this razor.

That roller bar looks very similar to the rolling safety bar that is on a Wilkinsons Empire.

Empire on left.

The difference being the Roller Razor's bar appears to be all one piece. The Empire's rollers are in three seperate sections (if I recall correctly).

Now I am going to have to looks at my Empire set Really well, What set do you have? 7,5,or 3 day set? I think there was a 3 day set but not 100% sure. I could be mistaken it for another set.

I have two sets, one in a metal case and one in a wood case. I don't think either are any "day" set. They both have a blade case that came with spare blades, but not a place to keep them so they would stay usable.

I posted the instruction manual from my roller guard razor in another thread.

I was fortunate enough to acquire a whole box of roller guards. Only the replacement bottom plates. The instructions that came with show the full razor with handle being available.

Curse you! You have caused my carefully managed acquisition disorder to flare up. LOL...

I feel the overwhelming desire to find one and add it to the collection

i picked up a razor not long ago with the roller head on it. im looking forward to tring it out. i have drill tomorrow so tomorrow is as good a time as any. that set looks awesome vargas..... again, can i come over and drool all over your stuff lol

Hi Vargas,

I too have a razor with a rolling guard. Although from a different manufacturer I believe. Mine is called the "Roller Guard Razor" which was made in Chicago.

Here are some pics: (I believe the case isn't correct for the razor. The case logo reads: The Master Barber Haircutting Comb.)

I've never seen one of those before Erv, thanks for posting those pics. do the rollers really work?
Yes they work and provide some kind of Glide and Massage on the face, Most people claim they feel great on the face while shaving, But i have yet to tried This Roller or a Stahly Razor either :eek:/ But Soon I shall try )
