Rive Gauche: New Bottle = Reformulated?

So YSL has given forum favorite Rive Gauche a bit of a makeover. My concern is exactly how far this makeover went. I'm a big fan of the black and silver cylinder, but am apprehensive that the new style of bottle could indicate that there have been other changes, too.

I haven't tried the new juice in the new packaging, but I believe the consensus is that it has been tampered with.

Don't take my word for it, I haven't tried it to be sure. There are some threads on basenotes around this. Would be a shame if they tampered with the juice and not just the bottle, because they really did a great job on the new packaging IMO.

I have both versions and cannot tell the difference. If there is one then it's for me a subtle change rather than a major one.

I only bought the newer bottle as I found it cheap on eBay.
If you can get the older tube like you will generally it works out better value for money.
