Rinsing - warm vs cold?

Warm/hot water for the shave, cold water after. That just seems like common sense to me. Gotta close them pores!

I warm water rinse, followed by a cold water "splash." I don't do it based on anything scientific, just a developed preference.

I sometimes do a warm water rinse, but always end with a cold water rinse.

Warm or cold, key for me is if the soap is thoroughly rinsed. If not, soap will easily give me acne.

When I do cold-only I add an extra rinse to be sure. In any event, the last rinse is partly checking out the BBS.

Somehow, no matter how thoroughly I rinse, every once in a while I can walk out of the shave den with lather on an earlobe. Comedy ensues. lol.

I like a warm water rinse followed by the cold water rinse - but it's hard to believe it makes any difference.

A tap has something to do with beer.
