Wow this shaving brush which I received yesterday is phenomenal! Don't know why people are getting the VDH boar brush, get this one! Wonderful horse hair shaving brush. I do wish the knot was a bit more dense but for a total $4 w/ shipping i'm not complaining! After using it I miss my Omega Pro 48 which I sold off. I might get one and trim the loft. I used to have a vie long but I liked this more for some odd reason. Today's shave was excellent and was quite nice with my ASB which is like a wax but is custom scented to my liking with a little menthol added. Well I hope you all have a great day!
Long time since I last posted here, but, time to start again.
*No pre.
*Nanny's spearmint cooler.
*Semogue 2000. Scuttle-lathering. I had many problems with this soap, but I've found out that the correct method is the following: smash an almond of croap in the bowl and whip it hard with a really wet brush (just lightly shaken). It will not render the dense lather I enjoy, but what the hell, this croap works great even with light lathers. *E&J DE89L with blue Astra blade (fourth and last shave).
*Confort lather. *Proraso splash (old version).
This morning sky was wonderfully clear, but now we're having cold wet wind and cloudy skies: i.e. rain in a matter of hours. I believe tomorrow I'll use Vetiver

DFS today. Im revisiting old blades that when I was a noob, cut my face to a pulp. Now that my technique has improved, I find some of these blades provide a closer shave than my long favored Derby's. I might even try Feathers again. The quest continues.
