Dear Friends,

i found this set in an antique shop.. i cleaned and take pictures .. if anyone know this sets date, origin , model, please help me..Also i search pictures in the forum and it seems to me Gillette milord pre WWII ..Razor condition is very good to excellent. BTW is this gillette belongs to this set? leather case condition is bad. also it has 2 chrome box and these boxes has three hole in the head . maybe use for powder. and 2 chrome blade case has 5 of each black DE . but there is no name on the blades just a sign. what is this blades and should i try them? is it dangerous? or how i sterilize these blades to use?. finally a small shave soap it has no scent but i tried after cleaned in my hand lathered very well.
please help me anyone knows something about this set.

Thanks to all.
Regards.

I don't think the set was a standart gillette one.
The two containers are for a brush and shaving stick. And it seems to me there was a small mirror on the top (in that triangular sleeve).
Can't help you anymore...

The set, I know nothing about, but I've not seen a set with a gold plated razor without matching components.

The razor, I'm thinking 1946 Milord. It has end caps, which the Wiki says appeared in '46, but still has the smooth area above the TTO knob, which I think became knurled to match the Super Speed in '47. Definitely pre 1948 as it doesn't have the notched center bar.
HTH.

Very good call on the 46' Milord. It definitely does not go with this set though.
