Razor Blade Storage Boxes

Hello all,
I want to apologize for the thread in the blade forum, but I could not find an accessory specific section.

I've been keeping my blades in the original plastic boxes for a while now, but I was wondering if anyone is still making faithful reproductions of the original metal Gillette storage boxes?

I found some that are 3D printed, but the shipping doesn't justify the purchase.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Your best bet would be to find some old blades and reuse the dispensers.

That being said, the old Gillette metal dispensers are a pain to load. You have to crack them open then refill because the opening is designed not to allow a blade back in.

The best (in terms of Gillette) are 1950's Blue Blade dispensers. They have a large enough opening to easily reload.

Even better are Personna, they come with slide-out trays. Only the Gt. Britain versions though, US Personnas have pretty crappy dispensers.

Modern Feathers also have slide-out trays, but not exactly a dispenser, you'd have to keep the blades in their original wrappers.

IMO, you with the old dispensers, you will still have to peel and load, not exactly saving much time.

Thank you very much for your detailed response.
I've seen the blue one locally, so I might grab one.

Just to be sure that we are talking about the same storage boxes, I am thinking about the ones in the khaki/travel kits.

I'd assume these ones are meant for easy re-stocking?

Also, its not really about speed but more about a way to neatly store while traveling.
