Straight Razor 3D Printed Storage Box ( Free download )

Just a quick Show n' Tell. I designed and 3d printed these SR storage boxes for straight razors that fall in and out of my rotation, so I thought I would share the files and make them available for anyone who wants to print their own. I've made the files available as free downloads for personal non-commercial use, and they can be found here or here.

My public library (Richmond, BC) has self-service 3D printers at several branches. It also has a 3D-printing _service_ -- after some education, they let you send in an object-definition file, and print it for you. There's a charge for the material you use.

I think other libraries have similar arrangements.

So -- if all you want is the final product -- you may not need a printer of your own.

PS -- I might get one of the razor-storage boxes that started this thread -- they are very neat!<g>
