Finally came round to trying the Rapira 3 pc. razor. Picked up a pair over at IB about 6-7 months ago and just procrastinated on getting shave with it. Today was the day and it was on. Opened the package and upon inspection I actually thought it wasn’t that bad at all. The handle didn’t scew onto the post and bottom of the base plate evenly as the handle wasn’t square. But, it tightened down enough to hold the blade after fiddling around with the blade alignment. Shave on....
And actually, it was a very good shave with the supplied Rapira Swedish Steel blade. A comfy 3 pass shave that left nothing but a DFS shave. Not bad at all. Very close to the Assured Dollar Tree Razor in terms of shave feel. Impressive good shave...
