Question regarding British #77 and #88

Just curious about the differences between these two razors. From the photos from mr-razor.com (thank you Achim):

Is it really the alignment bars and cut outs? Or was that mixed up between the two and the difference is the cases?

I think the #77 and #88 are the same two-piece razors in differently cases. The number is only the name of the set.

Thanks Achim. I have this set I just got and I would believe it's original (green bakelite ). Which is like the #88 head in your pics. I have one more set coming in billed as a #77. I'm hoping it has the head that your #77 pic has.
