question about old bakelite razor

I dont have a picture of it but the handle appeared to be white plastic and the head was like a dark dark brown bakelite.. It was a 3 piece razor and to unscrew it you held the head and twisted the handle just like a good fella works... sorry to be so vague but it was made in the usa any ideas of who made it...It looks similar to this one http://countryjoescollectiblestuff.com/media/images4/national-razor-8-16.jpg but the handle was slimmer and an ivory white and the head was dark dark brown.

except the handle was a little slimmer and the head was brown guess i will go buy it. its only $ 4.00 is it worth that much?

Even if it turns out to be junk it's worth $4.00 just for the fun of finding out how it shaves. Go for it. Buy it, shave with it, and report back. I love reading about other peoples unusual finds.

Got this "Slant Stroke" recently as part of a group buy - nothing slanty about it, poor construction. A real mutt....
