I've used the Green version and recently saw the White locally. What's odd is on the bottle it says that you have to use it before each pass. I don't imagine that is common practice of you'd need one a month. Beyond that, how does it work as a pre treatment and a post?

Thanks, I may have to give it a shot. I'm not sure why some don't like the smell. Obviously with scent, it's very YMMV but to me, this smells very clean. Almost exactly what I'd expect to smell like after a shower and shave.
I think their markting dept. made that between passes suggestion.
I definitely like the smell, clean + fresh
I prefer the green over the white. My razor slides over my face much better with the green for the two or three passes that I do. The white is decent, but green is superior IMO.

I recommend using the pre-shave ONLY between passes, specifically between the first and the second one.
I use it before i lather up, i rub it into my skin and then place a hot towel on my face for a minute.
