Proraso soap

I have been dabbling in the world of tallow-soaps for the winter and spring, and today I noticed my long-neglected green bowl of Proraso soap.

Whipped up an absolutely TOP-NOTCH lather and had a tremendously close, comfy shave.

This is great stuff....

Agree with everyone, Proraso is excellent stuff, produces great lather and also great quality products too, shame they don't do shower gels but hey ho

Glad to hear that. I just ordered a tub of that yesterday.

I've certainly noticed the difference compared to the canned goo I used to use. I'm currently using the Proraso Shaving soap in the white tub but I've also got it in the green tub waiting to be used.

The real difference is in the thickness and the texture of the lather.

My Proraso doesn't like my Badger.

I whip the heck out of it with a synthetic. But just can't make it work with my badger brush.

Oh well. I rotate brushes too so no biggie.

My medicine cabinet currently looks like a Proraso commercial. I had been using Proraso pre/post shave cream and the green tub of Proraso soap, with Nivea Sensitive ASB. We have a baby on the way which means my wife is very sensitive to smells, and she suddenly stopped liking the scent of the Nivea--so now I'm using Proraso ASB too.

The pre/post Proraso cream is amazing!! I've been using it for the last week and am finally getting my razor to glide through my stubborn beard. Shave oil didn't do anything. This stuff is the real deal!

Yes I know what that's like. My bathroom looks like a Proraso commercial too.

+1 My Omega boar seems to do the trick much better than my Vulfix. The latter brush is used only with my creams

I received today my proraso soap and it is great. I also bought the pre/after shave creme and it is probably the best after shave i've ever had. The only problem i have is that i've never used a shaving soap and i dont know how to make a rich foam. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks!
