Proraso liquid cream aftershave

Hi chaps,

Nooby here and first post.

Anyone use the Proraso liquid cream after shave? If so, is it any good?

What others would you recommend?

Currently using :- Merkur Futur, Derby blades, TOBS Sandlewood SC / Mitchels Wool Fat SS / Kent shaving brush.

Looking for a nice aftershave to go with it.

Cheers
Doug

just read the reviews - apologies - posted in haste!! anyways, im gonna order some of this along with some Tabac stuff which also gets ace reviews - the problem....... the wifes after my credit card!!!!!!

I haven't tried the balm but if it's half as good as the splash it's worth it. Nice kit, btw. And hey, welcome to B&B! :w00t:

I think it beats out almost any balm I've ever used. Don't let the price of $14 scare you either; a bottle will last for nearly a year.

I like the Proraso Liquid Cream a lot. It feels great and smells "old-timey" (but in a very pleasant, inoffensive way).

Welcome to B&B!

I loved the stuff - the smell, the effectiveness, the way it absorbs in and leaves your face feeling soft and smooth. But I can't use it, I think because of menthol sensitivity. It caused a low grade irritation while I wore it.

Proraso balm is my favorite aftershave. It works really well! I bit pricey, if you want something similar but cheaper, I recommend Nivea... But, Proraso is Proraso!

I just got me some! I hope its as good as everyone says.

It's super. One of my faves. Nivea is ok, but I find it to be a little bit tacky or greasy afterwards. Proraso absorbs right in to the skin and doesn't leave any residue feeling after. Pre de Provence balm is also great. Similar feel to it, and very good quality.

I agree. Persco's sentiments are spot on IMO. Both are my top 2 favorites. I would be content with these 2 balms for the rest of my shave career. My face feels smooth as silk after using the Pre de Provence for certain. The Proraso is great at clearing up red irritation & is very soothing

My all time favorite balm! IMO you will not need, or want another once you try it. And it is not that expensive when you think about how long it lasts. As they say, a little dab'll do ya!

Plus you've got a little hip flask when you've finished the bottle!
