Proraso Blue Tube with Aloe and Vitamin E

I just completed a purchase of this shave cream off of the Italian Barber. It was only $6.99. Get it while it's hot, Gents! I am excited about this cream. Actually more giddy than excited. <laughing>

I really enjoy the scent and performance of Proraso Blue, it is among my favorites, C.O. Bigelow (Proraso Green) is up there too. The Blue goes well with Gillette Wave aftershave, YMMV.

Goes even better with the Blue ASB

My OH loves it - every time I use the Blue cream and ASB she comments how much she likes it.

This man speaks truth! The pairing is just wonderful. My 2 favorite Proraso products, hands down. Try mixing the Red and Blue creams together sometime. It's very nice!

BLUE ... YOU'RE MY BOY!!! Proraso Blue Cream is fantastic. It has a clean scent with the great lather you'd expect from Proraso!

I got a sample of PB not too long ago along with samples of TOBS Grapefruit, DRH Eucalyptus, and Palmolive Menthol. Honestly, the PB is my least favorite. I find that all of the Proraso creams have this odd, kinda dirty smell going on in the background that I can't get past.

How is blue different from green? In terms of performance...?

Seemed about the same to me, really. The blue has a weaker menthol sensation, but they both perform well. The blue might have a slight edge in the moisturizing department, given the Aloe/Vitamin E, but cushion/glide felt pretty much the same. I prefer the blue based on scent, but both are excellent.

On a side note, cheers to a fellow Yinzer!

This cream has a too sweet liquorice scent for my taste, but the performance is fantastic. What you expect from a trusted barbershop brand like Proraso.

And let's not forget the red Propraso, another great cream, especially for the cold part of the year. To me, the red one is even slicker and more lubricating than the blue. The scent is heavier and stays longer.
