Playing around

So recently I had purchased 2 gold dollar 1996 razors from Amazon for $15 I immediately looked at the scales on them and laughed almost until I peed myself so I decided to butcher one of them up and I will eventually get around to honing it here are some WIP pictures. I had help too! The scales are Bubinga and the blade is just being started to get reshaped.

Did you etch or laser the gold dollar 1996? I never saw that before.

I don't understand your question sir! No there was no etching or laser used on the blade whatsoever as of right now I am just using my Dremel tool with sanding drums to remove any stock I want removed. I hope that answers your question!

Here's an update on the blade.

Good work sanch. We have an 'old man' cat 17 years old. He doesn't help much any more.
Wow. 17 years is how long our friend Carlisle made it. A finer cat never lived. My son is an only child and called him "big brother"..... We still miss him.

UPDATE: blade completed shape wise and sanded to 400 grit started at 200 grit next is 800 then 2k then polish had to glass the edge
