Wow! I just picked this bowl up again to finish it, and am surprised to discover it was 72 hours ago when I set this aside, mid-bowl. I could have sworn it was was just a day ago. No wonder it tastes like crap.

Now loading a Pony Express cob with the last dregs of Ennerdale Mixture.

Think a need to take a couple days off from smoking. Not tasting much from the pipes lately. Cigars seem to be fine. But I kind of expect that since they are stronger.

It happens. Sometimes, it's that something else was changed.

A number of years ago, Mrs. Columbo changed our toothpaste. It took me about 2-3 days to figure it out, but my pipes tasted a little more bitter than normal. Back to the Colgate.

If nothing has changed for you, just give it a couple days hiatus. And we are in cold season, and that also affects taste.
