Meerschaum March 2024!!!

A late start this evening, so only two pipes. L.J. Peretti Tashkent in the Altinok 2015 PSF POY; PS LBF, 3 coins, in the Altinay 2023 PSD POY. A wee dram of Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair on the side. After looking at the picture below, I realized the stem in the Altinok is upside down. Lucky I caught that and avoided catastrophe!
Finally had the time for a few pipes and grabbed briar completely forgetting about MMM...next time. I have an unsmoked beauty I've been waiting a year to smoke.
Heading out for some serious smoking. KG Sutliff VaPer 2.0 in the Paul Fischer; Sutliff Match 20 in the Altinay; Tashkent in the Altinok. A wee dram, or so, on the side.
Up this evening: Jordan the Dog Meer with WC Deluxe Crumb Cut; The Old Priest with Briar Works Country Lawyer. Perhaps a wee dram on the side.
After a 500 mile round trip up to San Antonio today to take my dog for his follow up visit after CCL surgery 6 weeks ago, a relaxing evening with a couple meers. Up this evening: KG Sutliff VaPer 2.0 in the Paul Fischer Billiard; Sutliff Match 20 in the Altinay PSD 2023 POY. Famous Grouse Smoky Black on the side. The dog got a great report, btw.
I guess the capillary action stands to reason, since meerschaum is a sedimentary mineral formation. But it's still kinda cool...
One meer, two briars this evening, so here is the meer; LJ Peretti Tashkent in the Altinok 2015 PSF POY. This seems to have developed into my Tashkent pipe and that is fine by me.
