Ah, cube cut HH Burley? Why didn’t I think of that?
For the sake of science and to drive @Kentos nuts.
I lit a bowl of cube cut. HH burley after dinner.
Packed well, burned great.
This is a pic of 2 flakes cut up. Should get 3 bowls out of it.
To me it seems a bit more intense than fold and stuff.

Re arranged some of my storage, pulled out some mclelland from 2002 , 5125, coyote classic in a calabressi.

Tonight was HH dark twist in my corsellini. no pics left ipad inside.
It was really good! More flavor than rubbing out, and burnt easier than fold and stuff.
Only problem is smoked a bit wet so I will dry my next bowl.
Over all I may smoke it cubed from here on out.
I have 2 tins still and next one I open will cube cut as well. Need to get out my chefs knife and sharpen it a bit.
Cpl more bowls left of what I cut up the other night to finish, and rotate thru some other blends.

Few year old Balkan Sobranie in a nice straight Chacom. I’ve smoked half of a tin and it really doesn’t trip my trigger like the hype says it should.
It’s full of quality leaf for sure, but it’s a mild balanced English blend to me. I won’t be stocking up anymore.

I agree. A solid tobacco, but overhyped.
Trying to finish off an old PIF sample of OGS that was pretty dry. First time I tried it when still pretty moist I was not impressed, now that it is pretty dry, I liked it a little better. Not sure if it was because it was dryer or because my tastes have changed a bit and I'm beginning to appreciate Virginias more. Folded and stuffed in 2018 B&BLE #3. Sure is a fantastic pipe!
Exactly! I had been working through a jar of HH Syrian so I was spoiled o that goodness. When I first tried the HH Syrian it was just okay, but fresh at the time. About a year later and it really shines bright.
