pins, washers etc

New to straights. Just scored a couple off ebay. Id like to restore as a hobby. Where do you get the pins, washers and those incredibly small nuts. I could peen but like the idea of threaded with nuts. Will allow for some adjustment.

Also, best source for exotic woods? I have checked a couple of sources but cannot find in small quantities.

Microfasteners.com and smallparts.com are two sources for washers and such. Don't remember if you can get rod at either one, I think you might be able to.

Ace hardware will have 1/16" brass rods and washers, if you are in the states, but it sounds like you want the microfasteners.

+1 on the Ace or True Value Hardware for brass rod and miniature stainless steel washers, nuts and bolts, if you're in the states. I've seen those items at both Ace and True Value in the last couple of days.

I found 1/16 brass rod at my local small hobby store. They also carry brass shim stock. Unfortunately they don't carry nickel silver rods. Washers you can get from Microfasteners.
