PIF Wilkinson Sword blades made in Brazil by P & G

Now this is a very humble PIF for five lucky guys. Earth only !!

It will be open until next week and winners chosen randomly.

(Strictly speaking is not a PIF but a giving away because I paid for this blades, they weren't give me for free, but to put things simple is a PIF).

Brazilian Wilkinson Sword blades. One box come with 3 blades. Today this is the only blades made here in Brazil, by Giillette (Procter and Gamble) because the other Gillette Azul Aço Inox blades are out of production.


Conditions for PIF:

1. Say why you think you deserve to try these blades for free.
2. Did not get my previous PIF wich included these blades.
3. You did not publish any CONUS only PIF or buy/sell/trade offer in this forum.

I would love to try these blades because I just used the sub par Indian ones,which I hoped were from Brazil
i did not win any previous PIF or have never used the term Conus only

Not in as I tried these blades courtesy of Eduardo. These are good blades and better than the German Wilkinson IMHO.

I deserve to try these blades because I would like to compare these to the old 1970s Wilkinson Sword UK version, which I have in my possession, and because I suspect these may be more interesting to shave with. Also, I have been meaning to try these. Win or lose, thanks in advance.

I deserve to get these blades because I already have Wilkinson Sword made in Germany, England and India and they are all excellent.
If I get these blades I will try them out in a Gillette NEW LC and give them a full write up on this forum.
Also I am in UK and we dooin't get much PIF action round these parts
I specified UK/EU only in a couple of WTTs (but ended up trading with a guy in Canada on the second one anyway!) so hope I'm still eligible.

The Wilkinson blades arrived:

Although the wax dots on the blade are very faint, they are still sticky. The blade has a slight lustrous matte finish, and it looks fairly high quality. I am loading it into a vintage 7 O’clock razor with a stock handle.

My first shave with the Brazilian Wilkinson went well. I am BBS results in four passes, but three passes would have sufficed for the same. My chin area is smooth, soul-patch area is smooth and the blade did a nice job on the upper lip. I have less irritation than I normally get with the Russian blades, basically none.

The last blade I used before this one was a NOS Polsiver Stainless. First shave, I would say the Wilkinson is more efficient. I’ll have to go another couple of shaves to get some idea of how it will perform on a daily basis, but I am already impressed with it.

I have quite a few of the Brazilian wilkies and wish I had more. Nice blades. This is a nice PIF but I'm not looking to participate. Just want to chime in on the great quality of the product.
