PIF - Under/Unemployed College Graduates

I was thinking of trading Red Tip but got hosed on a trade by a member here not too long ago so I'm gun shy about trading. Then I decided to sell it for Bitcoins but was reprimanded because it was not a legal tender. Now, I decided to give it away.

I was a recipient of a generous gift from a member in this forum last year for Unemployed Christmas PIF. It was truly a kind gesture. I was thinking about waiting till the holiday season but am moving soon and don't need 7 razors to haul around. Since 2006, about 50% of college graduates in the US are either unemployed or under employed and this is a very troubling statistics. We're looking at a generation of under utilized work source and don't know how it'll affect the future of this country. But you don't have to look unkempt while looking for a job. If you're interested just post that you'll put your hat in the ring and I'll pick a winner on Halloween night. I'll ship it anywhere in the US. For international winner, we need to discuss because I'm still unemployed and my fund is still limited.

Disclaimer: You don't have to be a recent graduate or even graduated from college. Just as long as you're interested.

FunnyHoney:

Great PIF. I'm not in but thank you for your generosity. You, my friend, are a gentleman.

Enjoy your shaves.

Don

Not in but very generous PIF. It is rough out there. I have been out of work since may. I received my graduate degree in 2011. It is just tough out there right now. Good luck to all looking for work.

I'm in, I have a BS degree and getting paid less per hour than what I was making in high school. On my way to getting a masters because a four year degree doesn't cut it anymore.

If you don't have a proper network, it's very hard to land a job. I have MBA, experience, and served my country. But still having trouble getting a job. Employees want people to start work at get go without receiving any training. In reality, there are a lot of jobs available but they're not being filled because the employers want that "perfect" candidates. In today's economy, employers hold all the cards and can afford to delay hiring and squeeze more productivity out of current workers. It's very scary time for everyone, not in this country but others as well. I hope we don't need another Bolshevik Revolution.
