Thanks to the Latinization of Hebrew and Judaism, some misconceptions about Jesus persist. For instance, his name wasn't Jesus, but more likely Yeshua. That initial "s" sound in his name really should've been a "sh" sound.
Also, unlike the blue eyed, bearded, blonde, long haired hippie as he's been portrayed in countless Western images, he probably looked pretty different. Per the gospels, Yeshua shaves.
