PIF a bunch of Sharks...

I hope I'm doing this right this time around.. I mentioned it in the Great blade exchange post, and it was explained to me that it was not the correct forum for giving away razor blades.. So, if I have it right this time, here goes the short story.... I just bought 100 yellow wrapper Shark SC blades. I can't even stand to look at them, much less shave with them. I do know that many people LOVE those blades, and rather than toss them in the trash, I would like to give them to anyone who might like them, or might like to try them.

The blade exchange post indicated that they did not want any more shark blades, so I'm going direct... I had mentioned that it would be nice to have one unused Iridium blade for posterity, or even one used Personna 74 blade, but I clearly stated that it was only a wish. If you want a couple packs of the new Shark SC blades, PM me, send an SASE, and I'll send you a few. That's it. No trade needed. I would have sent them to the exchange bank, but they said they didn't want any more Sharks, and it would have added insult to injury to pay to ship them again (I accidentally paid more to ship the blades than I paid for the blades). Ouch...

Anyway, there it is. All I want to do is put my unloved Shark blades in the hands of Shark blade lovers. If none bite, I'll toss the lot.......

Several replies so far. Awesome! Looks like the Sharks will all end up in a happy home! Thanks for the replies, and I still have enough to send a few packs to others who might be interested. Sorry for initiating the PIF in the wrong forum. Even old folks have a bad day....

Thanks all for the response! I think I have enough SASE's on the way to put all of my Sharks in the hands of people who appreciate them. If some envelopes fail to arrive, I'll write up a new PIF... Meanwhile, thanks again for offering a new home to my stash of Sharks!

Three people ended up sending me an SASE for a bunch of Sharks.. Several others never came through, or at least never indicated a lost envelope with a PM, so I do have about four packs of five blades left (I used some, and kept a few factory wrapped packs for posterity). If anyone wants them, PM me for an address, and then send an envelope. I discovered (too late) that four dispensers of Shark blades require 5 first class stamps.. So, send the SASE with five stamps of you want all four remaining packs... And please let me know if you are certain you want them so I can let others know that they are spoken for.

I'm glad they arrived OK! Forget the stamps... It was my pleasure to add them, as I thought two would be fine as well. The Postal service is getting to be as expensive as a taxi... Enjoy the Sharks!

Looks like the Shark pen will be empty soon. All Remainimg blades are promised. I'll post again if anyone chooses not to send for them!
