Picking up some blades in Europe

I'll be going on a cruise to Europe, and thought it might be fun to go looking for some DE blades that are perhaps harder to come by in the US (or expensive, due to shipping/import costs). The cruise will be in Scandinavia, can anyone recommend a brand to be on the lookout for? It'd be fun to go back to the States with my own little "sampler pack".

You should see if you can find European Gillette Platinums, the successor to the discontinued "Swedes". I believe they are available in Denmark and Finland:

Well, if the Merkur HD is your preferred razor, pretty good I guess. But you won't know until you try them, as YMMV.

Yeah I've seen some Gillettes here, not that exact package but a bit similar. It's a white plastic box on a similar cardboard thingy..
And they're expensive! Around 1 euro per piece which is.. 1,4 usd. (Edit - I mean per blade! The package is 5 euros and includes 5 blades.)
That's the only blade I've seen for sale. I always order from the US or UK.

Yes.
So THOSE are the famous Swedes
I'll have to check it out next time I'll go somewhere where they sell blades.. probably you're right and they have been replaced by other Gillette's. It's been a while since I've looked at the shaving wares here (it's so depressing.. expensive cartridges, mega-expensive cartridges, goo-in-a-can, goo-in-a-can.. blehh)
