Penmanship on a Ipad/Droid Pad etc. With a Stylus

I downloaded Noteshelf to use taking notes in meetings and interviews. I have a cheap trade show giveaway pen with a stylus, but it takes a lot of pressure to write on the Ipad. I am looking for a stylus that needs minimal pressure and will allow a more natural writing style. Anyone with experience and suggestions, please let me know what you like and why.

I appreciate your input.

The only meaningful suggestion I can give is to take notes on paper. That allows you to use multiple ink colors, and real nice pens.

I'm not sure that the stylus is the problem...I think the limiting factor is the iPad touch screen itself. All the stylus does is provide a conductive surface that interacts with the screen; it's no different than a skinny fingertip.

I am largely going to echo the comments of Larry/Snargle, although a good stylus can make it marginally better. I believe Monteverde has a combo fountain pen/stylus device that works well, especially if used in a program that allows you to adjust the thickness of the written image (e.g., Pages). With that, however, my best recommendation if you want to take notes on the iPad is to get a Bluetooth keyboard and connect it. Of course, that combination gets to be nearly as bulky as my X201 Lenovo laptop.

My wife claims it is the closest to actual 'pen & paper' She tried a few others and wasn't impressed with them. One of our daughters gave to her as a birthday present. I pretty sure she uses the software that hooks up to Evernote.

Does she use an Ipad or a Droid? Also, does she have a screen protector film on it? Thanks
